Meru Valley Resort’s Patchwork Society is having its twelfth annual charity bazaar on Saturday, 16 November 2019, from 9am to 5pm, at the Function Room of the resort.
The society was initiated by Datin Mina Ushiama, with the support of the resort’s management. Twelve ladies, of various nationalities, get together every Tuesday for the love and passion of handicraft and sewing at the Common Room, in the clubhouse. They tirelessly create beautiful handmade crafts items such as purses, bags, cot quilts, coasters, hand-phone cases, bags, passport holders and many other.
The bazaar comprises of handcraft corner, food corner (Japanese sushi and biscuits) and also jumble-sale corner featuring porcelains and housewares. All items sold at the bazaar will be priced from RM 5 and above. All these items are sold for a good cause to support disable children of an organisation here in Ipoh (Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Setia Silibin, Ipoh Perak) continuously for twelve years.
With the Christmas season, just around the corner, take this opportunity to purchase fine hand-crafted items as holidays gifts and support the lives of handicapped children with your generosity.
Share the details with neighbours and colleagues and pencil in 16 November for a day of craft and a good cause.
