The club’s monthly medals never fail to attract golfers to participate and enjoy the championship condition of the golf course, as well as to foster better relationship among members. Teeing off on Sunday, 9 February the golfers enjoyed the course in splendid condition which reflected in the very good scoring playing Bogey-play format.
Ms. Ranee Giese of handicap 30, was crown the ladies medal with the score of +4 meanwhile Tomoko Ikawa, a 16 handicapper took the runner-up position with the score of -1.
Nagalingam claimed the A medal champion title on count back with the score of +1, defeating Moh Wai Kit to the runner up position. Both posted the same identical score and played of a handicap 9. Meanwhile 10 handicapper Ahmad Faisal, scored 0 for the day and claimed the second runner-up position on countback.
Mock Chee Weng, a 17 handicapper won the Medal B category with the score of +4. Chen Chee Keong, handicap 16 claimed his runner up title over a 17 handicapper, Yoshikazu Furutani. Both posted identical score of +1, however Chen Chee Kiong edged Yoshikazu on countback.
Shakindren Nagalingam, a 21-handicapper posted score of +4 to win the C medal. He is also the son of A medal winner Nagalingam. Jeffrey Lee a handicap 20 took the runner up position with the score of +2 on countback against 24 handicapper Kwok Chee Kwan who also posted score of +2.
