Course Care – June 2025

Our dedicated maintenance team has been hard at work throughout May to ensure the course remains in top condition for your enjoyment. Here’s what we’ve accomplished:

  1. Fungicide spraying to prevent disease attacks on greens, including treatment for discoloured spots affected by turf disease.
  2. Insecticide spraying for all greens to prevent worm infestation.
  3. New subsoil drainage installation at the front fairway of Hole 11 and the front greens of Hole 14. These upgrades help reduce sogginess and improve playability.
  4. Fairway slicing for all three Nines to enhance soil structure, increase water infiltration, and improve air circulation for healthier turf.
  5. Buggy track repairs at Hole 6 and Hole 27.
  6. Bunker repair at Hole 27.
  7. Light dethatching for all greens at Waterfall Nine and River Nine to improve turf health and surface quality.
  8. Safety fencing between Hole 3 and Hole 7 to ensure a safer playing environment.

Ongoing/ Upcoming Work(s):

  1. Preparations for the June Monthly Medal tournament.
  2. Subsoil repair work at the fairway of Hole 15, and buggy track repairs at Hole 25 and the section between Hole 12 and Hole 13.
  3. Additional attention to soggy areas at the front of greens on Hole 11, fairway of Hole 14, and tee box of Hole 22.
  4. Light dethatching at the Valley Greens.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to carry out essential maintenance activities on the course. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible golfing experience. Thank you for your continued support.
