The current unpredictable weather has seen our maintenance team going the extra mile to maintain the greens at our golf course. In efforts to control the growth of nematodes that thrive in high humidity, we have applied nematicide on the greens, besides fungicide to safeguard against potential damage and insecticide to prevent worm attacks.
Meanwhile, the reconstruction of the sand bunker next to Green 14 has been successfully completed with tree-trimming currently taking place at Valley and Waterfall nine. Both efforts are aimed at improving playability and visibility on the course.
Looking ahead, preparations are underway for upcoming golf tournaments and the Monthly Medal challenge. Adjustments to be carried out include reducing the height of the rough from 3 inches to 2.5 inches.
