Buggy Etiquette

When it comes to golf buggy etiquette, there are several guidelines for fellow golfers to follow to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. Here’s what to keep in mind:

  1. Always adhere to the golf course’s rules regarding the use of golf buggies.
  2. Safety should be a top priority when operating a golf buggy. Follow the designated paths and be mindful of other players, pedestrians, and golf course staff. Maintain a reasonable speed and avoid sudden stops or sharp turns that could cause accidents.
  3. It is generally considered disrespectful to drive a golf buggey onto greens or tees. These areas are delicate and susceptible to damage, so always ensure that the buggy is on the right track.
  4. When parking your golf buggy, choose a spot that does not obstruct other players’ shots or impede the flow of play. Leave ample space for others to access the next tee or green.
  5. Treat the golf buggy with care and respect. Avoid bringing dirt, sand, or grass clippings onto the buggy, as these can be messy and cause damage.
  6. Always be courteous to fellow golfers and staff. Yield the right of way to pedestrians and give way to maintenance personnel working on the course. Follow any additional instructions or guidelines provided by the course staff.
  7. It’s the responsibility of fellow golfers to collect and return the buggies operated to the buggy centre. Ensure that the buggy is in the same condition as you received it.
  8. Buggies with flags (blue / yellow) are allowed to drive-in the course with 90° regulation and must be kept off 50 meter radius from the green at all time.

By following these golf buggy etiquettes, you’ll contribute to a positive golfing experience for yourself and others on the course.
