Know Your Handicap

Effective 1 November 2025, the Malaysia Golf Association (MGA) will implement updates to the WHS.

• All existing 9-hole scores in the database will be removed to ensure data   accuracy.
• For 9-hole scores submitted between 1–31 October 2025, the Expected Score Calculation will be used to complete 18-hole data.

Score Submission Deadlines:

• Mobile App: Submit within 3 days of scorecard creation.
• Web Portal: Submit within 1 month of scorecard creation.

Scores submitted after these deadlines or more than 1 month after play will not be accepted for handicap purposes.

All members are encouraged to download and register individually on the MGA WHS App, available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, to keep track of their latest Handicap Index updates.
